I'm so excited to launch the first post of my new blog! Welcome and I hope you enjoy. As a part of my launch I'd like to share my illustration of Alice.

Alice is a perfect way to introduce the new blog, because I am a lot like her. I am a dreamer, a lover and even more, I live in a world all my own. I dream of magic and fairy tales. You'll often find me reading books or sketching whatever is on my mind. I make up my own rules and think nonsensical thoughts on a regular basis. This is the reason I created this blog... to share the wonderlands and explorings of my world with you.

To introduce myself, my name is Becca. and I don't really have a title for what I do. I've never thought of myself as an illustrator or a photographer or anything like that, I simply love to create beautiful things. There are constantly pictures running through my brain, beautiful moments I want to capture and stories I want to tell, and I love to express those thoughts in any way that I can. Simply put, I'm a creator of visuals stories, I am The Story Smith.

So on the blog, I'm excited to share my paintings and artwork and all the projects that I work on in my spare time, along with photography that I've either art directed or taken myself. Every once in a while I'll post some fun lifestyle stuff just about me. You'll notice quickly that I am a huge fan of Disney. While I do work for Disney, none of the artwork or anything you see on the blog has any relation or affiliation with the Walt Disney Company or any of it's affiliate companies. This is simply just fan art that I do in my spare time, using my own resources and is my own personal expression.

So Welcome hopefully you'll enjoy wandering through my imagination as I post! Enjoy :)
