Disney Emojis

After creating the emoticons for the WDWBestDayEver Social Media account, I was asked to illustrate new emojis for the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. This app is a way for cruise guests to communicate while being in the middle of the ocean without cell phone towers.

Working with the Disney Parks and Resorts Digital team, along with Disney Animation Character Artists, Disney Consumer Products, The Pixar Team, Lucas Film and Marvel Studios, I was able to illustrate a consistent style for all the characters.

This was a challenge because I had to both illustrate 2D animated characters, 3D animated characters as well as live-action people. I was also given two weeks to complete the illustration of the 150+ Emojis.

Overall, the project was very successful. Over 80% of app users are using the emojis on the app. There is also a possibility to see these emojis on other platforms.
